Our Origin Story
The vision for Yeshu Geets began with a simple challenge. I often found it difficult to find accurate lyrics for many beautiful Christian songs online, particularly those in local Indian languages and regional dialects. Realizing that many believers and worship leaders faced the same struggle, I decided to create a centralized, easy-to-access library where the Word of God in song could be available to everyone, everywhere.
Our Multilingual Mission
We believe that every tongue should have the opportunity to confess and sing praises. While we are starting our journey with Hindi, Punjabi, and English, our roadmap is vast. We are actively working to expand our database to include:
- South Indian Languages: Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada.
- West & East Indian Languages: Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, and Urdu.
- Global & Biblical Languages: Moving beyond India, we aim to include international languages, including the original biblical languages of Greek and Hebrew.
What We Provide
Currently, Yeshu Geets serves as a text-based library focused on high-quality, accurate lyrics. However, we are constantly evolving. Our future updates will include:
- Video Integration: Embedded YouTube videos to help you learn the melody and rhythm.
- Musician Resources: Guitar and piano chords for worship leaders and instrumentalists.
- Easy Navigation: A language-wise organization that allows you to find songs in your "heart language" within seconds.
